Tunisian studio Urar Studio has finally unveiled the official trailer for Kopno: Blightfall, offering players a first extended look at the atmospheric project during Gamescom week.
Sharing the trailer on social media, Urar Studio CEO, Seifeddine Bzainia described the release as an opportunity for audiences to finally “get a glimpse in 4k of what the game will be,” while thanking the team and collaborators who have helped bring the project to life. The trailer arrives as Gamescom week places the spotlight firmly on emerging game development talent from around the world, including a growing number of African studios seeking to reach international audiences.
Bzainia highlighted the contribution of Urar Studio co-founder Houssemdine Souaf, who worked across level design, animation and technical development, alongside lead programmer Elaa Hidri, responsible for coding, optimisation and polish.
The CEO also gave special recognition to Tarek Siela for his work on character design and Mohamed Aziz Setti for environment props. Animation was another key area of collaboration, with Tunisian studio Lanterns Studios providing expertise and guidance to help bring Kopno: Blightfall‘s animations to life.
“Now let’s get moving to our next playtest,” Bzainia concluded. Kopno: Blightfall is now available to wishlist on Steam.
