Nigeria’s growing game development scene has another ambitious title on the horizon. Inuv8 Studios, led by developer Daniel Shontan, has officially unveiled Project OVERRIDE, a narrative-driven sci-fi adventure currently in pre-alpha development.

The reveal came through Daniel Shontan’s social media channels, where he shared the first teaser for the project alongside details about its development progress and future plans. Set in the aftermath of a dystopian Earth’s collapse, Project OVERRIDE introduces players to a world shaped by survival, technology, and the remnants of a fallen civilization.

The teaser centers on the awakening of an obsolete preservation machine that finally comes online after 1,073 override attempts. While brief, the reveal establishes the project’s science-fiction tone and hints at a larger narrative focused on mystery, discovery, and the consequences of humanity’s past decisions.

Despite still being in pre-alpha, Shontan revealed that significant groundwork has already been completed. According to the developer, Project OVERRIDE features a custom gameplay ability framework, modular combat systems, advanced animation architecture, narrative tooling, and the foundations of a much larger interconnected world.

Inuv8 Studios is currently open to discussions with publishers and potential partners as development continues. While the studio has not announced a release window, platform targets, or additional gameplay details, the reveal serves as an early indication of the team’s vision and aspirations for the project.
