Madagascar based studio, Red Raketa Studio has signed partnership agreements with newly formed publishers New Tales and Boiler Interactive to bring their new project – Kalanoro to life.

Kalanoro is a third person platform adventure game that has been in development since 2021 and is set across iconic and picturesque landscape of Madagascar. The project came into prominence in 2021 when it took the top award as part of Digital Lab Africa.

New Tales is incredibly excited to be partnering with talented Red Raketa Studio and newly formed publisher Boiler Interactive to bring to life Red Raketa’s upcoming game, KALANORO!

During our recent trip to Madagascar, we’ve been fortunate enough to meet with Dina Valisoa Ratsisetraina, Luana Karen ANDRIAMAMONJY and Steevie Rasoanaivo, founders and leaders of Red Raketa Studio.

Along with our friends from Boiler Interactive, we’ve been genuinely seduced by the work they’ve been doing on KALANORO – pronounced “kalanour”, a brilliant action platformer that we truly think has the potential to offer something unique to the genre.

We are deeply honored to be partnering with such passionate team and humbly hope we will help to cast the light on the talented Malagasy creative industry in the process.
