Free Lives have announced their latest project – Anger Foot. A first person shooter built for PC and to be published by their long standing partner – Devolver Digital.

The South African outfit have been busy at work ramping up for the release of Terra Nil (also published by Devolver Digital) which is scheduled for release later in 2022, but this announcement shows their commitment to expanding on a game that has been bubbling on and built a sizeable following for just over a year.

In a post on, Free Lives developer, Robbie Fraser said,

“There’s a new demo available on Steam too! Please go play the demo and wishlist if you’d like to follow the development. The Steam demo is basically a shorter but more polished version of the itch prototype – with a boss fight and a few other new things!  And don’t worry, we won’t be taking down the itch build – that’ll always be available for free.

Still a lot of work to do before the game is ready for a final release, but we just wanna say a massive thank you to everyone who played the game and supported us on itch. We 100% wouldn’t have been able to make this into a full game without the support we’ve gotten here. Thank you so much! Looking forward to the next chapter!”

In Anger Foot, the player is encouraged to unleash the world’s deadliest feet on a colourful cast of anthropomorphic enemies. Clearing out slums, sewers, and skyscrapers as you grab new weapons, unlock new sneakers, and upgrade your powers in absurd and wonderful ways. Kick and shoot your way to the exit as you leave behind a smouldering trail of shattered doors, broken bones, and crumpled energy drinks.

Anger Foot is scheduled for release on PC in 2023.
