Developers across the continent converged, jammed and had a whale of a time as this years Global Game Jam came to an uplifting end. This years iteration also played host to a historic first.
In South Africa developers gathered at Vega School in Johannesburg for their annual jam session. Kenya witnessed a sizeable turn out with among others Johana Riquier from Unity and Ludique Works Nathan Masyuko hosting a panel and series of talks for local devs. The event was sponsored by Liquid Telecom and hosted at the Nairobi Game development Center.
However, the real story of GGJ20 has to be from Dakar in Senegal, where its first edition took place.

With a theme on reparation, eighteen young artists, programmers and designers spent 48hrs together perfecting their creations.
