Noohkema Game Studios are inching ever closer to the release of their first game – mobile fighting title, Afro Warriors: Battle for Power.
With only a sprinkling of details currently available, all we do know at the moment is that the game will feature ten different characters, multiplayer support as well as take place across a backdrop of diverse African locales.
This game will be the very first fighting game, ranking in the category of games such as Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, but featuring Africa, its landscapes, martial techniques etc… It has been designed with the DNA of eSport game; with Afro Warriors, our structure comes to propose the very first game made in Africa intended for eSport competitions and tournaments.

Developed in partnership with MTN Group, Noohkema Game Studios is a creative company based in Douala and Yaounde, Cameroon developing games for PC and mobile. Their ambition is to break down how video games and interactive media can be best used to change global perceptions of Africa whilst preserving the cultural identity for the next generations.
Afro Warriors: Battle for Power is set for release later in the year on iOS and Android.
