Moroccan game developer and AJG Games Studio CEO Ayman Jbari has officially revealed the studio’s latest project, Cazafonia, marking a new milestone for the country’s growing games ecosystem. The announcement was made via social media following the game’s recent public reveal

Sharing the news with his followers on social media, Jbari said:

“I’m thrilled to announce CAZAFONIA! We’ve spent the last 10 months pouring our passion into this project, and I can’t wait for you to see it. Stay tuned there is much more to come!”

While details remain limited at this stage, Cazafonia has already been positioned as an ambitious new title from the Moroccan studio. Early references around the reveal describe the project as an open-world experience shaped by music, street culture and Moroccan identity, suggesting a title that aims to blend local storytelling with broader commercial appeal.

AJG Games Studio has become one of a growing number of developers helping expand North Africa’s presence within the wider African games industry. With studios across the continent increasingly building projects grounded in local narratives and cultural perspectives, Cazafonia arrives at a time when African-made IP is attracting greater regional and international attention.
