The BRIDGE Program, an initiative focused on fostering collaboration between African and European game development studios, has officially reopened applications for its latest edition.

First launched in 2019, the program was created to support African studios in accessing international opportunities by facilitating partnerships with European counterparts. Through a structured framework centred on co-development and professional exchange, BRIDGE aims to strengthen connections between two regions that have historically operated with limited direct collaboration in the games industry.

Over the years, the initiative has positioned itself as more than a networking platform. It has contributed to the professional development of participating studios by exposing them to different production methodologies, business practices, and market expectations. For many developers, the experience has provided a pathway toward greater international visibility and long-term partnerships.

The program is open to independent game studios based in Africa that are seeking to expand beyond their local markets and engage in cross-border collaboration.
