Zambian developer, Chroma Pixel Games continues to stack up a roster of impressive partnerships as they continue work on their debut title – IMPANGA.
Founded in 2014 by Edwin Kampesa, the studio recently announced their acceptance into the Nvidia Inception Program.
NVIDIA Inception is a free program designed to help startups evolve faster through cutting-edge technology, opportunities to connect with venture capitalists, and access to the latest technical resources from NVIDIA.
Sharing the news on social media, the studio released a statement saying:
“This partnership marks a monumental step in our journey to push creative and technological boundaries in game development and beyond. Through NVIDIA’s support, we’ll harness cutting-edge technologies like DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and advanced image rendering to accelerate the development of our flagship game, IMPANGA. This collaboration empowers our team with state-of-the-art tools and educational resources to enhance their skills, shaping their careers and boosting their capabilities to new heights.
Under our parent company, Chroma Pixel Technology, we’ll leverage NVIDIA’s expertise to drive industrialization in Africa, producing innovations such as smart city tech,Game Frameworks,3D assert store made in Africa and digital twins,” the statement concluded.
The Nvidia Inception Program follows previous partnerships with the likes of Microsoft in 2023, Amazon’s AWS in 2022 as well as a collaboration with Benin based outfit Malaika Games in 2024.
Details on IMPANGA remain scarce with the game being developed for PC.
