South African based indie studio, Tiny Baby Crown which is fronted by Estelle Makhoba has been selected to join Black Game Developer Fund.

The Black Game Developer Fund supports projects at various stages of development, from prototyping to publishing. While participants hail from all around the world, the fund is an effort to help bring resources, guidance, and other support to Black game developers, who have long lacked the type of access fundamental to having a level playing field in the industry.

Tiny Baby Crown were selected for their title – Dungeon Crawler where the player is a baby trapped in your own daycare dungeon, and you have to use your imagination to bridge the gap between reality and fantasy and put an end to the goblin horde!

BGDF titles along with Humble Bundle is advised by, Justin Woodward and Sithe Ncube who will continue their essential work as advisors not only to the fund’s operating team but to all of its members. Justin’s and Sithe’s expertise in the publishing and game development space is an integral part of the program, as they offer insight and guidance to BGDF members throughout their development journey.

Previous alumni from the African continent to the fund include Amma Chronicles of Lost Stars and Sunjata: Trumpet of Last Day.
