Cape Town based gaming hub, the hyper casual accelerator jointly started by South African Carry1st and CrazyHubs is set to welcome its first cohorts.

Originally launched in the Spring of 2021, the hub aimed to gather aspiring but talented creators with a desire to create chart topping hyper casual titles.

Thrilled to announce the launch of our inaugural CrazyHubs #CapeTown program (in partnership with CrazyLabs)! Eager to watch hub participants progress and create incredible games,” shared the CrazyHubs in a public statement.

Among those to join this first cohort includes Nigerian Abiola Oke, Dooshima Anger, a gameplay developer from Maliyo Games; Evans Kiragu, Jeffrey Gichuki as well as Joshua Nyamori from Kenyan Mekan Games.

There is a clearly outline timeline as to when we’re likely to see projects from the hub, but the support, structure in place couple with the calibre of Crazy Labs and Carry1st, ensures that the output is something we should all excitedly keep an eye out for.
