Ghana / Berlin based developer Twin Drums have become the first recipient of Riots developer fund. The studio which is fronted by the charismatic Allan Cudicio is currently hard at work on The Wagadu Chronicles – an MMORPG.

In addition to URF funding, Twin Drums will also be leading a Kickstarter campaign to get the remainder of the project financing, and we will be participating in supporting that with a Twitch stream involving their CEO and a few members of Riot Noir participating in a Dungeon and Dragons one-shot campaign set in Wagadu. Speaking on the significance of being the recipient Allan Cudicio said,
“When we spoke the first time, I could not believe my ears because it sounded too good! Riot games is genuinely committed to supporting black and diverse game devs like Twin Drums’. The URF is a fantastic step in the right direction and we need more companies to follow its footsteps. I am truly excited about what comes next!”
