Dergham Games is a solo person studio from Egypt, who have recently revealed their first game due for release on Steam called – Light Dude.

The intriguing and illuminating project is a challenging game where the level goes dark when the player runs and lights up only when one stands still!

Originally conceived as a prototype in global game jam 2022, the scope and ambition of the game has grown to enable a full release at a future date.

Speaking on social media, the developer – Ramy Dergham credits the idea on a real life experience, something we can all relate to.

“The game is inspired by real-life events where I was walking in the dark at home, and my feet hit the bottom edge of my bed. Yeah, that’s how it started, until it ended up with intense boss fights!”

The game is available to wishlist on Steam now.
