The free, fully online event spotlights Arab game creators across the SWANA region, with North African developer communities from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Sudan among its participating groups.

The Arabic Games Conference (AGC) is back. The free online event, which celebrates games and interactive experiences made by Arab creators, takes place on 28 November 2026, with registration now open via Eventbrite.

AGC positions itself as a one-of-a-kind gathering for the Arab games scene. Its stated aim is to help the SWANA (South West Asia and North Africa) game development community prosper by improving access to educational resources, professional advice, publishing insight and job opportunities, while highlighting the best work coming out of the region.

This year’s speaker and mentor line-up includes Mohawk Games CEO Leyla Rouhana Johnson, Romero Games senior technical artist and AGC organiser Joseph Azzam, Ubisoft senior talent acquisition specialist Yara Tabbara, Epic Games data engineer Yasmin Halwani and TTK Games product director Feras Musmar. GameUp Africa lighting artist Mentallah Refae and German University in Cairo’s Aly El Din Sakr are also on the list.

For developers seeking feedback on a project, aspiring professionals looking to break into the industry, or studios hoping to connect with new audiences, the conference offers an opportunity to engage with a community working to expand the region’s presence in the global games industry.
