Nigeria GBROSSOFT have continued to iterate on their third person action horror title – Outliver: Tribulation since its release in 2023. With their latest update they have sought to address some of the optimization chalnges the game experienced at launch.

The game which was built in Unreal Engine 5.1 has since been updated to Unreal Engine 5.3. This allows the game to take advantage of the awesome improvements the Epic Games team has made to the engine, especially in the performance department.

They also updated the visuals of the game by boosting the light exposures making the scenes generally brighter as well as adding more detail in general to the maps and most notably, overhauling the visuals of the Guardians Arena map, taking it from a plain and barren old look to a now more detailed and interesting look.

Based on player feedback, they also worked on fixing some achievement bugs where achievements completed while playing offline don’t update when one comes online. Completed achievements are now saved and refreshed at regular intervals to update when next one plays the game online. Also based on another player’s very recent suggestion, they have added a new achievement to the game called “The Outliver” which unlocks after you have completed every other achievement in the game.

Outliver: Tribulation has a positive rating and is available to buy on Steam.
