Nigerian Raven Illusion are ramping up the release of their long in development mobile title by winning a local game development competition.

The Adventurers is a third person action shooter set in West Africa, which thrusts players on an adventure across West Africa to uncover the legendary treasure of Mansa Musa, the richest man in history. The premise of the game was enough to win the DOJ Gamingz competition which was held onsite in Lagos, Nigeria in December 2023.

Speaking on the win, studio founder, Precious Rhogho, spoke about his delight at the recognition.

“It’s been an incredible journey with its share of highs and lows, but 2023 has truly been a transformative year. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to God and everyone who supported me through thick and thin. Your encouragement, belief, and positive vibes fueled my determination.

The Adventurers is set to launch in Early Access on February 20th 2024 for both iOS and Android devices.
