Sony Talent League, a global challenge organized by Sony and Trojan Horse was a Unicorn (THU) to support the growth of young creators and empower innovative ideas within gaming and art, is back to showcase the best creative talent in the digital entertainment industry.
The initiative which has in recent years featured African creators such as the duo from Naoto Studios with their project Kawia’s Adventure could be used as a proving ground to gather a wealth of industry support from acclaimed experts.
Artists can submit their projects between October 17th and December 8th via website, and the five finalists will pitch before renowned industry players in the bootcamp event that will take place in March 2023, in the region of Catalonia, Spain.
Applications are open to artists with ages between 18 and 35 who have innovative ideas with art as a starting point, combining different areas of creativity, such as animation, film, video games, virtual reality, digital photography, music, and multimedia, among many others. These artists can apply individually or in groups (up to 4 people). The five finalists will be announced on December 20th and will receive nine weeks of mentoring.

- The top five projects will have access to nine weeks of mentoring and receive up to €10,000 in funding to help develop their concept.
- For the first time, Sony Talent League will have its three day in-person Bootcamp in Catalonia, Spain, in 2023.
