The Gaming Academy is BACK for its third edition! For those of you that don’t know, the Gaming Academy is an initiative to help ANYONE make games and learn how to make them through sessions on design, development, art, music, storytelling, and business.
Their target audience is Arab developers from the MENA region, but they’re not too fussy as to who joins as the sessions will be in English.
As usual, they have instructors from AAA (Ubisoft, Blizzard), indie (KO_OP), and local (Falafel Games) studios giving the courses mentioned above, except this time they’re going to be doing something extremely special: they’re going to walk you through creating your first platformer.
So grab a friend (or four) or make some in our right here in their Discord server and come create your game along with peers from all over the MENA region!
They start on July 5th, so share this far and wide with everyone that would be interested in learning how to make their first game. And remember! Games are more than just code, they’re all the creativity, art, love, story, and passion that you put into them, so take the leap and dive into the wonderful world of game making!
