SpielFabrique is pleased to organize the first Europe-Africa Game Developer Matchmaking Days on 23 and 24 May 2022.
Participants will be able to attend panels and keynotes on the state of the video game industry in Africa and the opportunities for collaboration between Europe and Africa in the video game sector.
The event is an opportunity for European and African studios to meet. The aim is to encourage Europe/Africa co-production for African games and to develop collaborations between studios from both continents.
9 African studios selected and mentored by SpielFabrique, and supported by Ubisoft or Orange, in the framework of the African Games co-production Market, will present their projects in order to find co-producers for their games.
The event will take place online in MeettoMatch. Registrations should be done through the following link in EventBrite:
The African Games Co-production Market (AGCM) is a yearly mentoring program for African studios. The goal is to support African video games studios in:
- improving their business skills,
- refining their video games prototypes,
- accessing an international network of experts and game devs,
- finding a co-producer in Europe for their games.
9 African video games have been selected in the program 2022. Now, SpielFabrique is looking for European Indie Studios interested in becoming their co-producers.
