The Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival—Africa’s premier celebration of creativity, technology, and digital culture—has crowned Rasta Santa the winner of its 2025 Rising Star Award, recognizing the Nigerian-developed game for its originality, artistry, and cultural impact.

Developed by Deluxe Creation Studios, a Lagos-based independent game studio, Rasta Santa blends humor, vibrant Afro-futurist aesthetics, and fast-paced gameplay into a uniquely African narrative. The award marks a major milestone for Nigeria’s growing game development scene and a nod to the continent’s expanding influence in global digital arts.
