The Arabic Games Conference (AGC), the region’s leading event for Arab game developers, returns this year with a free, fully online edition on November 29th, inviting creators, students, and gaming professionals from across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to connect, learn, and showcase their talent.

Since its debut in 2020, AGC has evolved into a cornerstone of the Arab game development community — offering talks delivered in Arabic by experts from global studios such as Ubisoft, Epic Games, Babil Games, and Tamatem. Over the years, the conference has spotlighted dozens of indie studios, hosted consultancy sessions with international experts, and empowered thousands of professionals, students, and aspiring developers across the region.

A Stronger, Smarter 2025 Edition

The 2025 Arabic Games Conference promises to raise the bar with even more insightful panels, lively discussions, and opportunities for professional growth. Attendees will have access to sessions with world-class speakers, including:

  • Leyla Johnson, CEO & Creative Director at Mohawk Games
  • Joseph Azzam, Senior Technical Artist at Romero Games
  • Yasmin Halwani, Data Engineer at Epic Games

In addition to expert talks, the conference offers a range of career-focused activities:

  • CV and Portfolio Review Sessions to help job seekers refine their applications
  • “Chat with a Pro” Sessions for personalized one-on-one mentorship
  • Publisher Feedback Meetings, where studios can pitch their games and receive expert guidance on securing funding and achieving a successful release

Celebrating Regional Talent

This year’s AGC will also introduce a Game Awards Ceremony, celebrating the creativity and innovation of Arab game developers. Details about the award categories and jury panel will be announced soon.

“We ensured that every talk and every activity serves a clear goal this year: to inspire new developers to make games, encourage existing ones to keep working on their projects, and give them a boost,” said the AGC organizers. “Our mission is to help the game development scene in the region grow by facilitating access to free education and support. The Arabic Games Conference is organized by developers and community leaders from the region — by the community, for the community.”
