While most were calling time on their activities at the end of a very eventful decade, Senegalese Delegation for Rapid Entrepreneurship (DER) penned a pivotal deal with Unity – helmed by Johana Riquier.

DER in Senegal, focused on the Senegal Emergent Plan (PSE), leveraging policies and economic programs of Senegal to dramatically increase wealth creation, inclusion and active participation of populations in growth and territorial equity.

DER chose Unity as the entrepreneurial platform to launch new careers, businesses and entire markets based on real-time 3D. Unity will train young African developers and companies in real-time 3D across gaming, media and entertainment, manufacturing, education and healthcare industries.

We are also very thrilled to have signed a historic partnership agreement between DER Unity Technologies, which will create a “Unity Center of Excellence,” a facility aims at training young African developers in augmented and virtual reality (AR and VR).
