There is a new program aimed at creatives of various disciplines. So whilst aimed squarely at game developers, this should appeal to people making music, art and more elements of a game.
The program Afrique Créative financed by Agence Française de Développement, aims to support African cultural and creative businesses in their development, in order to maximize their impact locally, nationally and internationally.
Afrique Créative is an acceleration program funded by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and implemented by a consortium led by the Belgian non-profit organization Africalia with I&P Conseil of the Investisseurs et Partenaires (I&P) group, Zhu Culture (cultural engineering consulting company based in Senegal) , Bayimba Foundation (cultural production structure based in Uganda) and Tshimologong (a technological innovation hub within Wits University based in South Africa). The cultural and creative industries are promising social innovation and generate impact within their communities.

This program aims to support African cultural and creative businesses in their development in order to maximize their impact on a local, national and international scale.
