Malian MOS Games have announced a crowdsourcing effort to fund their first project – Mist of Soundjata.

Originally a mobile title with over ten thousand installs on Android, Mist of Soundjata is a strategy game but also a management game in which the player is invited to take control of Empires as in the days of the Empire of Mali: Soundjata. It is a game that traces the history of the Mali Empire under the reign of Sovereign Soundjata Keita and allows one to relive it.

With aspirations to develop a large scale version of the mobile version, a successful Kickstarter would see the developers port the game onto other platforms including consoles and PC whilst targeting a release window at the tail end of 2022.
