Well versed event now in its seventh year. The Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival is rooted in showcasing and developing skills in technology, art and culture in Africa. 

Jointly produced by Tshimologong Innovation Precinct and Wits School of Arts, this year under the curatorial leadership of social sculptor & creative entrepreneur Dillion Phiri the ‘Phygital celebration’ will explore the state of Digital Creativity & Innovation in Africa, storytelling & web-first in Immersive Media, platforms for creativity, regulations and funding.

A highlight of the event for anyone keen to learn more about the South African games industry is the launch of the Tshimologong gaming research, insights and findings on October 20th.

The talks and exhibitions will feature creators from across Africa sharing their journeys and ideas on life as creatives using technology as a catalyst in their work.
