The game Jam launched by South African developers, Free Lives is set to return once again at the end of October 2021. SA GAME JAM is an annual competition with the aim of encouraging more South Africans to make games.
The jam will run right here on Itch from 22-24 October 2021. Game developers of all levels are encouraged to enter the competition and stand a chance to win a share of over R50 000 cash!
One can enter as an individual or team with all participants allowed to use whatever tools they like. The use of pre-existing code/sounds/art/assets is also permitted so long as that is fully disclosed if and when that situation arises.

SA GAME JAM is open to all South Africans at any level of experience . So whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned pro, get those entries in now!
